Title: That's Not Fair
Scripture: Isaiah 40:27-31
Synopsis: This message is the third in a 4 part series entitled Making Sense of Life, When Life Does Not Make Sense. One of the keys to Making Sense of Life, When Life Does Not Make Sense is how we understand this whole concept of Fairness. Continually life deals us circumstances that are not fair. Some even come to believe that life in general is not fair. If a situation last long enough, or is severe enough, we may even question “Is God Fair?” But stop and think for a minute, do you really want God to be fair? Sometimes God being fair would work to my advantage, at other times if I got what I deserved it would be to my demise. The problem is if God chose to be fair, then He would have to be fair all the time or else it would not be fair. Instead, God in His wisdom chooses to be more than fair...He chooses to be faithful.

Title: In The Meantime
Scripture: John 3:30, "He must increase and I must decrease."
Synopsis: This message is the second in a 4 part series entitled Making Sense of Life, When Life Does Not Make Sense. In the meantime is often the furnace of life where the heat and stress of life heats us to the point of breaking. Yet, during these times God takes us and places us on the anvil of His character, and then applies the hammer of His love to us in order to make us more like Him. It is during these times that John 3:30 “He must increase and I must decrease.” becomes reality.
