Who We Are 

We are a church that defies labels.  We are neither traditional, nor contemporary.  We aren't primarily old or young.  We cross racial boundaries.  The Rock Church is a place of love and acceptance for all ages, personalities, and ethnicities.  And we're not just saying that.  Once you stop by for one of our worship services, you'll see that The Rock is a group of friends and family seeking truth and authentic community.  And we invite you to join in!

We are a contemporary Spirit-filled church, affiliated with the Georgia District Assemblies of God and the General Council of The Assemblies of God in Springfield, Missouri.

Our History

The Rock Church began in 2005 when several believers came together as a family.  For the first 3 years, The Rock Church met at the Music Funeral Home on North Valdosta Rd until they completed their brand new building on Old Clyattville Rd in August, 2008.  Now we are just waiting on what God has in store for us next!

Where is The Rock Church going?

The Rock is composed of an amazing group of volunteers.  Together with the Pastoral Staff, the Rock is building a rich history full of warmth and the love of Christ.  Our goal is to try and stay in front of the status quo, allowing God to guide us through the hard decisions along the way.  Our goal is simply "To know Him, and to make Him known."
